STELLA is a 6-foot diameter cryogenically-pumped vacuum chamber that can be configured as a 6-foot long Thermal Vacuum (TVAC) facility featuring thermally controlled platen and shroud operating between -180 oC and +150 oC, or as a 10-foot long Electric Propulsion (EP) facility using a liquid nitrogen chilled beam dump along with optional additional cryo-sails. Standard equipment includes an SRS RGA-200 mass spectrometer, thermocouples, CQCM and TQCM outgassing sensors, thrust stand, power supplies for sub 2 kW electric propulsion system.
