Gregory Chamitoff graduated from Cal Poly in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. He is an engineer and former NASA astronaut. Currently Chamitoff is Professor of Engineering Practice in the Aerospace Engineering Department at Texas A&M University.

Victor Glover

Victor Glover graduated from Cal Poly in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in General Engineering. He was pilot on the first operational flight of the SpaceX Crew Dragon to the International Space Station and the first African American ISS Expedition crewmember to live on the ISS.
