Welcome to the Aerospace Engineering Student Academic Fee
Initiative Committee website.
In March of 2002, Cal Poly students
voted to increase tuition $200 per quarter to enhance their
education. One-hundred percent of this money goes directly
to a Student Fee Initiative account in the name of the student's
respective department (Aerospace Engineering in this case).
In turn, each academic department has a Student Academic Fee
Committee that uses this money to support the instructional
programs offered by the department. This could include offering
additional classes, offering more sections of current classes,
upgrading lab equipment, funding student projects, etc. The
following webpage and links are intended to help the students
see how their money is being used, provide links to important
Committee documents, and provide information on becoming a
member of the Aero Student Fee Committee.
If you have any questions or comments
about the Aero Student Fee Committee and its proceedings
please direct them to the Committee Chair, Robert Perry,
rperry@calpoly.edu.
If you would like to submit an Aero Student Fee Committee
Funding Request, please use
the SFC Funding Request Form. If you would like to submit an Aero Student Fee Purchase Requisition Form, please use the SFC Requisition Form.
