Graduate Student Resources
While Cal Poly is well known for producing top quality aerospace engineers with a BS degree, the Aerospace Engineering Department also maintains a vigorous Graduate Program. We offer a Master of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering with a specialization in either Research or Space Systems Engineering.

Advising Information
Once you are admitted to graduate study in the Aerospace Engineering Department, all graduate students must complete the following prior to graduation:
- Postbaccalaureate Change of Objective (BMS or "4+1" students only)
- Formal Study Plan (Amendment to Formal Study Plan)
- Advancement to candidacy
- Request for Graduation Evaluation
In some situations, you may need the Petition for Special Consideration form.
Finally, all graduate students in the Reseach Speciallization are required to abide by the Graduate Student Timeline.
